A Vanta alternative with published pricing and a free plan
If you are looking at alternatives to Vanta, the useful question is what your program needs in its first year: which frameworks, which integrations, what budget and how much help. TractionGRC publishes its prices, starts free, covers CMMC and Microsoft SSPA on published plans, and includes security monitoring in the same product.

What to compare before you choose
| Ask every platform | TractionGRC's answer |
|---|---|
| Can I see the price before a sales call? | Yes: Free, Starter ($349 a month) and Professional ($999 a month) are on the pricing page. |
| Is there a free plan, not just a trial? | Yes, with no time limit: NIST CSF and CIS Controls starter visibility, a Security Checkup and the TractionScore dashboard. |
| Does it cover the frameworks my customers ask for? | ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO 42001, ISO 27701, NIST CSF, CIS Controls and CMMC Levels 1 to 3. FedRAMP is on our roadmap. |
| Do I have to rebuild work for each framework? | No. Controls are mapped across frameworks, so evidence for one counts toward the others. |
| Does it connect to my cloud accounts? | Azure (Microsoft Entra ID) and Google Workspace from Starter, AWS from Professional, read-only and checked hourly. The integration list is short compared with the largest platforms. |
| Does it watch for security incidents, or only compliance settings? | Both. On Professional and above, identity attack chains across your connected accounts become incidents, mapped to the clauses they affect. |
| Can it answer customer questionnaires such as Microsoft SSPA? | Yes: all 63 DPR v12 requirements from Starter, with TractionAI drafting answers from your records. |
| Who does my audit? | Your own auditor, with an Auditor role in your workspace. We don't run an auditor marketplace. |

Maybe not yet
- You need FedRAMP authorization now.
- You depend on integrations beyond Azure, Google Workspace and AWS.
- You want the platform to supply your auditor.

Questions
What is a good Vanta alternative for a small business?
It depends on what you need first. If you want published prices and a free plan, CMMC or Microsoft SSPA without a sales call, or security monitoring in the same product, TractionGRC is built for that. If you need FedRAMP today or a very wide integration library, Vanta itself may still be the better fit.
Is there a Vanta alternative with public pricing?
Yes. TractionGRC publishes every plan price on its pricing page, from the Free plan to Starter and Professional; Enterprise is priced per customer. Vanta's own pricing page asks you to request a demo for pricing (last checked October 29, 2026).
Is there a Vanta alternative for CMMC?
TractionGRC covers CMMC Levels 1, 2 and 3, with Level 1 on Starter and Level 2 on Professional, and every requirement mapped to ISO 27001. Vanta also lists CMMC Levels 1 to 3 on its site.
How long does it take to switch?
It depends on how much you bring across. Policies and evidence files upload directly, risks import from a spreadsheet template, and the frameworks and controls are already in TractionGRC. There is no one-click import from another platform.
